I don't get a lot of time to watch much TV these days and when I do it is usually pre-recorded. Here are a few of my thoughts historically and more recently.
Modern Family
This is currently the best show on TV. Each character is hilarious in their own way. My personal favorite is probably Cam.
Curb Your Enthusiasm
These are the best characters on TV, ever.
Weeds
I admit, this is basically a guys version of a soap opera but it is a great show. Happy to have it back for another season.
Wipeout
This show is nothing short of hilarious. Watching people literally kick themselves in the head with their heels is the best. Close behind that is the chin to the deck.
Growing Pains
I have no idea why I liked this show but I know I watched every episode. Now that I am old enough to know what they were talking about I am baffled they had a character named Boner Stabone on network television back then.
The Greatest American Hero
This should have been our countries first indicator that our school system is behind the rest of the world. If this was the best hero America had to offer we need more teachers. What hero can't land when he is flying? I assume the reason I watched this every week was to see what he was going to do next to let me down.
Married with Children
Kelly Bundy was my introduction to girls. Looking back on it probably not the girl you would bring home to mom but I will say that Christina Applegate seems to have become a good respectable woman once she got away from Bud.
Family Ties
I am guessing that there were not a whole lot of kids watching this. I really have no idea why I was either. I think I had an early crush on the older sister and now that I am looking at the picture I must say I have moved on to the mom. Is the dad Bob Ross from the painting show?
Dukes of Hazzard
Uncle Jesse is what all uncles should aspire to be. What I don't understand is that this picture seems to have the passenger door open. What am I missing? I thought the doors didn't open.
The Fall Guy
Pretty much the coolest guy in the 80s. Sorry Michael Knight. He also drove one of my favorite toy trucks.
New Girl
This show is just consistently funny. Great characters with an good ongoing story-line.
Entourage
Sorry to see this one go but it lived a great life.
The Office
So many great roles. Stanley always has the right line. Kevin surprises you with something dumber every episode. You have to hope that Dwight's character isn't based on someone real.
Different Strokes
Wha you talkin bout Willis?
Silver Spoons
Who didn't want a train going through the living room after watching this show. I envy you Ricky Straten.
MacGyver
What's he doin with that thing? Favorite episode was when he cracked an egg into the radiator of a jeep to plug a hole. I have no idea how a radiator really works but I am guessing that would work with no issues long term.
Knight Rider
Genius. Let's just start with the title, Knight Rider, yep, spelled with a K. Why you ask? Because his last name was Knight. Yet he rode around at sunset wearing all black in a black car. Who thinks of this stuff, amazing! And why don't we have cars that respond to your watch yet? Come on Scientists, pick up your game.
The A Team
This is the kind of show that needs to be on for kids today. It was as aggressive as it gets but nobody ever died or really got hurt. I pitty da foo that didn't watch this show.
