Restaurants
I would like to give a little shout out to a few places that have done me right over time. This list is going to be all over the place.
*** Disclaimer - If you think that Cheez Whiz belongs on a Cheesesteak or that it is called a Steak and Cheese please close this website now, journey back above the Mason-Dixon line and don't come back!

- Chick-Fil-A - This is not fast food. This is always a solid option and you will find yourself wanting it most on Sundays. If it is near Christmas, dive into a peppermint chocolate chip milkshake.
- Chuy's - Found in Nashville, TN. They do a strong Mexican effort. Get the Compuseto dip as an appetizer and the Chick-A-Chick-A-Boom-Boom for your meal, as always, no beans, double rice because beans are gross. Great news, they have expended to northern VA rapidly. 4 locations here or coming soon.
- El Salto - The best one is in Perring Plaza in Baltimore County. The building is an old Wendys and who doesn't like sitting in that atrium.
- Lightfoot - This is a great restaurant in Leesburg, VA. They do customer service right and make a great meal. Good spot for a pricey date night. Get the cheese tray.
- Wine Ktichen - Again, in the heart of old Leesburg. They have a limited selection of food but it is all great. I had a ravioli stuffed with Boar, Venison, and Elk the other day that was amazing. Menu always changes so keep going back.
- Emril's Del Monico - There are a number of great places to eat in New Orleans. This is one of them. Get the mint brownie ice cream thing. Holy Crap!
- Verde Mart - While in New Orleans, this hole-in-the-wall is the place to go for your breakfast sandwich. Sausage, egg and cheese croissant. No matter what you did the night before you do not need 2 of these.
- Burrito's En Fuego - This place has been closed for years but it is getting the shout out it deserves. I miss the food and Milton.
- Fireworks - This is an amazing pizza / microbrew option in Leesburg, VA. Personal preference is to go with a combo pizza, half smokey blue and half buffalo chicken. The buffalo chicken isnt on the menu but they know how to make it because it is a special on occasion. If they have the buffalo chicken appetizer it is a must eat, otherwise go with the bruschetta trio.
- Carolina Brothers BBQ - Located on the bike trail in Ashburn, VA. This is the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. Go with a side of mac and cheese and some corn bread.
- Nagoya - For ages Kobe would have been on the top of my Japanese steak house list. However, Nagoya, located in Ashburn, VA has taken the top spot. Filet and Chicken with fried rice is my happy place. Benni-Hana is still at the bottom of the list and should be considered the Hardees of Japanese Steak Houses.
- Rubinos - I surprised myself when I added this to the list but I have to say, they are pushing out one of the best cheesesteaks I have ever had on a consistent basis.
- Melt - Located in Leesburg, VA in a shopping center you would normally only visit looking for an auto parts store you will find Melt. Bottom line, this place is on the list and Five Guys isn't.
- Yo Mamas - Another amazing New Orleans spot. Located directly across from the side entrance of Pat Obriens, this is a hidden gem. I recommend the Bull Fighter with no jalapenos but add Sour Cream and a side of mac and cheese.
Wendy's
Customer service is part of my life. Wendy's blows it everytime you order a frosty. I decided to film it one time.
