Technology
Being someone that works in the technological world, it is my duty to share my experiences with others in an effort to push technology forward and better everyone's life. So enjoy my thoughts, reviews and whatever else ends up on here over time.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3

This is my current phone of choice. After years as a happy iPhone user I decided to migrate to the land of the Google. The primary reasons I chose the Note 3 were:
- It is a Samsung product and the rest of my electronics are as well (fridge, TVs, etc...)
- It is a Google product and the rest of my online world is as well.
- It is very customizable to be whatever I want it to be.
What I didn't realize I would love about it until I started using it was the screen size. I never felt like my iPhone was too small, but once I used the Note for a full day and went to look for something on my iPhone it felt like the iPhone was a little toy.
Droids in general are not for people that want to open their phone out of the box and have it work and never touch it again. Go with the iPhone for that. Droids are for people who enjoy going through every little setting to make the device work the way you want it, not the way Apple forces it.
Apple
I would summarize Apple as follows: I don't like the blind supporters, I do like their devices, their software needs a lot of work, and last but not least I am convinced they are set for more challenges. I shall explain.
On Blind Supporters
If you think Apple products are better because of Photoshop then I would appreciate it if you clicked whichever one of the confusing icons on the top of your screen closes my site. Photoshop is no different on a Mac than it is a PC so talking about software differences just makes you sound silly.
On Their Devices
There is no doubt that the iDevices revolutionized technology forever. I loved my iPhone for many years. I do believe everything went downhill when Steve Jobs died. I ultimately left the iPhone for 2 reasons; first, it simply didn't connect to my life. I don't have any other Apple products other than an iPad.
On Their Software
It got to the point where anytime I tried to update my phone through iTunes it erased the whole thing. Google Play lives on the web and I don't have to install anything or pay for cloud services to use it.
